Create a webpage on VisualStudio

Kids Mania website for your semester project:

This is my 1st instruct able and during this instruct able, I am progressing to show how you create a webpage to use Visual Studio to make your own website!

Before you start

Install Visual Studio

If you haven't already installed Visual Studio, go to the Visual Studio downloads page to install it for free.

How to Create a project

To start, you will create an  ASP.NET web application project. The project sort comes with all templet files to make a web app before you have even additional anything!

1. Open Visual Studio.
2. On the start window, choose a new project and choose Visual C# from the Language list, and then choose the ASP.NET  Web Application template. In the Configure your new project window, enter a new webpage in the Project name box and press ok.

                         

Create a page and Run the application

1. In the Solution Explorer, expand the Pages folder, click on your project and add the new page with the home.

Now click on the home page and see in the bottom left there's a button called Design. If you click on it there's a webpage that you can edit! In the next step, you'll learn how to actually edit it.

    Now click on the Format from the menu bar and choose the background color.

On the left side, you can see the toolbox. In this toolbox, you have different options like button, textbox, label, image and so more. you can select anything which you want to add.now select the image button from the toolbar.

Now add image through the solution explorer .click on the project .whose name is kids' website. choose Add option and then existing item.

Now run the application and view it in the browser. You can run the application using Ctrl+F5 or by choosing Debug > Start Without Debugging from Visual Studio's menu.    

On this website, I also included the style sheet for the menu and flesh files for playing games and poems for children. for the complete web site, you have to see a video.
